General cargo vessel "Balarr", built in 1948 by the Broken Hill Proprietry Co Ltd - Whyalla for the Australian Shipping Board. She was sold on completion to Australianb Steamships Pty Ltd (Howard Smith Ltd - managing agents) In 1964 the owner was renamed Howard Smith Industries Pty Ltd Australia and in 1966 she was converted to burn oil fuel and side port vehicle doors were fitted. In 1970 she was sold to Cia. Nav. Pearl SA - Panama and renamed "Suying" and in approx 1973 the Teh-Hu Cargocean Management Co Ltd became her managers. In 1974 she was sold to Pontos Freighters Ltd - Panama and renamed "Pontos Princess". In 1976 she was reported lying at Gadani Beach, near Karachi, and later reported to have been broken up by Pakistani shipbreakers in that year.
