Passenger vessel "Kyarra", built in 1903 by Wm Denny & Bros - Dumbarton, Scotland. Owned by Australasian United Steam Navigation Co and operated around Australia's coasts. She took her first voyage in 1903 and was commandeered as a hospital ship in 1914, in 1917 she was converted intop a troopship and in 1918 converted into a hospital ship, torpedoed in June 1918 and sunk in the English channel, with 9 lives lost.
