Caption
Barque, "Pam", ex "Lady Palmerston", a full rigged shiup of 1247 tons register. She was a smart clipper, built at Greenock in 1864 and for many years she lightered coal at Port Adelaide, until 1930 when she laid idle. In 1934 she was used as target practice for the Navy ships "Australia" and "Canberra", in a position 7 miles south west of Cape Hart, off the coast of Kangaroo Island, South Australia.
