Built in 1966 by Whyalla Shipbuilding and Engineering works for the Australian National Line. IN 1979, vessel was sold to Malcome Collins (Australia) Pty Ltd, for demolition. In March 1979 she left Hobart in tow of tug 'East Sea' for Kaohsiung. On arrival she was resold for demolition to Jui Fa Steel & Iron works Co Ltd, Taiwan and work began in June.
