"Lawhill", a 4 masted steel Barque built in 1892 at Dundee by W.B. Thompson & Co for Charles Barrie. Registered at Dundee. Gross tonnage of 2816. Official Number 99215. Purchased by Capt Gustav Erikson of Marieham in 1919 for the Australian Grain trade. She was seized as a war prize in 1942 by the South African Government and made several trips for them. Sold after World War 2 to Portugese owners who did not use her. She was broken up on Mozambique in 1957. Dimensions - length 317', breadth 45', draught 25' "H.M.S. King George V", a battleship built in 1940. The construction of the King George V Class was spurred by the laying of new battleships in France, Germany and Italy. King George V had four sister ships. Apart from the "Prince Of Wales" which was sunk in 1941, all ships in this class were scrapped in 1957 or 1958.
