Passenger Vessel "Wairangi", built in 1942 by Harland & Wolff as "Empire Grace" for the Ministry Of war Transport. The vessel was fitted with 112 Tourist class berths as a war time measure. She was bought by Shaw Savill Line in 1946 and renamed "Wairangi" and the passenger accomodation was removed in 1951. The vessel was stranded near Sandhamn, Sweden on 14 August 1963 and refloated and towed to Faslane for breaking up.
