2 masted ketch, formerly of Melbourne, built in 1881. First owned by James Barbour, Aratapu, Auckland NZ, the registered in Port Adelaide in May 1910 by David Deex and R Fricker. Register transferred to Melbourne in September 1913 although vessel continued to trade in South Australia. By 1946 she was owned by VE & PJ Cosh, RM Crouch & CV Perkins and by 1964 by RM Crouch & partners. She left SA in the 1960's for New Guinea, thence other Pacific Points. In the lkate 1970's she was acquired by a man who became a resident of Bundaberg, QLD, who almost completely restored the vessel to original conditin and offered her for sale. Late in 1982 she was sent to Hong Kong for conversion into a luxury yacht, in Hong Kong she was renamed "Golden Hawk" and was British registered in a Charter business which failed. Vessel was found in Benoa Harbour, Indonesia in 1984 ina state of disrepair by Terry Firmstone an Australian Travel agency owner. After restoration he put her into service as a day cruiser which he also skippered which was still operating in 1994.
