Wooden 2 masted Ketch, built in 1900 by Hans C Christensen, Bermagui, NSW. An auxilliary motor was fitted in May 1922, making her have a bhp of 45 and a speed of 5.5 knots. "Harold" was registered in Port Adelaide in September 1919 by A LeMessurier & Partners, in 1922 by R Fricker & Co Ltd & partners and was then acquired by the Commonwealth Government on behalf of U.S.A. Army small ships. The register closed in 1945 with the vessel's fate unknown - although it has been reported that the vessel was taken to Sydney, thence to Darwin and was sunk in the Japanese air attack in 1942.
