Panama, 14/04/1909 for Chile. Turned back after 80 days due to contrary winds and foul hull. Arrived at Panama 91 days out and left again,01/08/1909 for Portland, Oregon. Met fickle winds and food shortage. Replenished at sea by American steamship SS Acapulco. Put into Acapulco Mexico, after 122 days. Circa 01/12/1909, received fresh orders for Sydney.
