Elizabeth CRAWFORD

Elizabeth was born in Hibaldstow, Lincolnshire, England in 1831. She travelled to South Australia with her two younger brothers William and Edwin. In January 1855 she married Peter Rowland, in Gawler, who had arrived on the Sea Snake in 1854. They had ten children but only five made it past 10 years old. Elizabeth died in 1908. Records show that both brothers married in Penwortham, but Edwin was mentioned more often in the newspapers, around Undalya, and he died in 1885.
