William Howlett made more than one voyage: SA 1836 EMMA 5 Oct 1836 from London Captain John Nelson, arriving Nepean Bay (Kangaroo Island) SA 1838 HERO - crew SA 1839 FAIRFIELD from Liverpool with Captain Robert Abbott, arrived Port Adelaide on 30-04-1839 with 115 passengers (83 adults, 32 children) - SA 1839 ANNA ROBERTSON - http://passengersinhistory.sa.gov.au/node/602297 from London with Captain Augustus Munro, arrived Pt Adelaide September 20, 1839 carrying general cargo and 111 passengers was requested and sent back to England by Walter Watson Hughes on 23 February 1853 on the ship "GEELONG" with a full boat cargo load of wool. Visited Ampton that year and when he returned brought his "cousin" James Howlett from Ixworth back with him.
