John KIRKBRIGHT

John Firby Kirkbright was born in1807 at Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire, England. In 1850 he married Sophia Adams in Adelaide; she had arrived in 1849 with her parents and siblings, on the Eliza. They settled near Auburn, at Floral Farm, and had eight children. John died in 1875, and Sophia in 1916.
