Researching my mother's ancestors after her death last year I have listed as below: John Neate 1788 Malmesbury England (D) 1846 Adelaide arrived on the Trusty 15/5/1838 with his wife Mary Ann Neate(1794-1857) & daughter Emma Matilda(1819-1862) Their son Charles Sommers Neate 1813 Oxfordshire (D)1872 Adelaide arrived on the Resource 1839 with his wife Harriet (1814-1839)Harriet died not long after arriving. Charles remarried in 1842 to Annie ( 1825-1909) who arrived on the Lady Emma 1837 with her parents David & Anne Smith & her 4 siblings.Their son Charles Sommers Neate born 1838 married Susannah (Hamer)1840-1907 in 1858.Their son John Neate(widower) 1869 - 1944 married Edith Olive Neate (Reid 1885-1974))His first wife Sophia(Franks)1871 died ?Son Harold Charles Neate)1891-1970 Broken Hill is half brother to my mother Barbara Florence Neate 1920 -2018 ( 7 siblings) Barbara married Ronald Arthur Ryles whose great great grandfather arrived on the Eliza 1849.
