Mr. Aloyo SIDLER

Aloys Friedrich Wilhelm Sidler is my 2nd Great Grandfather on my maternal side. He was born in 1825 in Hamburg Germany. Emigrating to South Australia in 1850 .He came out on the ship Australia. Married Sarah Maria Nottage on the 3 May 1852, they had 11 children one of them being my Great Grandfather Louis Sidler. Aloys and Family lived in Dashwood Gully in SA. He worked as a Farmer, Builder, Postmaster, and a Carpenter. He had his own Carpenters shop. There is a road just out side of Meadows SA call Sidler road. His wife Sarah Maria past away on the 7June 1890 at the age of 59 in Dashwood Gully. Aloys past away on the 19 September 1921 at the age of 96 in Dashwood Gully.
