Miss. Catherine MANSON

Catherine came from Edinburgh, but originally was from Glasgow and appears in the 1841 Census there. She married another arrival off that ship, Archibald Shiels, 22, Shepherd, in July of 1850 at the Anglican St Pauls Church at Port Adelaide. They remained in Port Adelaide for two years and then went to Littlehampton. They had two children in Port Adelaide, William and Andrew. Andrew died as an infant. They had four more children at Littlehampton, but three were wiped out in the Scarletina outbreak.
