John FRANCIS

John was the infant son of my great-great grandparents, Peter and Catherine Francis from County Clare, Ireland. His name had been crossed off the passenger list with the notation 'dead' before the ship left Plymouth. His two-year old sister Mary was also listed as 'dead' at this time.
