Joseph GIETZENDANNER

Joseph Anton Giezendanner was my great-great-grandfather. I have a copy of the "List of Emigrants Embarked on Board the Star of Erin" which left London on January 26, 1876 and arrived in Adelaide on April 28, 1876. Joseph's name is on this list - spelt 'Gietzendanner', aged 32, occupation Ag. Labourer. The information which says he arrived on the Star of India is incorrect and probably due to material in the "Biographical Index of South Australia" that was given by family as a handed down story not needing to be documented.
