POLICE COURTS.
Wednesday March 18. [Before Mr. G. W. Hawkes, S.M]
Runaways.— Peter Meyer and Peter Anderson, seamen, were charged by the Shipping-Master with being found in the province after the departure of their respective vessels, the Madras and Elise Mary, without proper discharges. They were fined £5 each, or, in default of payment, to two months' imprisonment.
