Miss Jessie Fletcher ORR

Jessie Fletcher Orr is my grandmother and boarded the Ballarat in London for Australia 26th January 1922 and arrived Port Adelaide 9th March 1922. She was travelling with her brother Robert Orr. She had secretly married my grandfather, James Petrie Jamieson shortly before she left!. She was actually Jessie Orr-Jamieson at the time, even though she wrote her name as Jessie Fletcher Orr, she was married to James Petrie Jamieson. When she came back to Scotland two years later, they started a family and had three children: John, Andrew and Margaret who are all now deceased.
