My family and I arrived in Adelaide 1952 on the last voyage for the RMS Ormonde. Apart from it being extremely hot in the cabin assigned to my sister Joan, myself and a mother with 3 children next to the engine room I enjoyed the trip over. The food was plentiful which after the war time rations was a very welcome change. We all arrived (Father, Mother, Sister, Brother and myself) without any mishaps to Port Adelaide and we made sure to return to Port Adelaide when the Ormonde docked then en route to England to wave a last farewell to a valiant ship where it was then taken out of commission. Well done Orient Line! Pauline
