Family arrived on an assisted passage (10 pound poms) from Seaham Harbour. Upon arrival in Adelaide the family moved into the Finsbury Hostel at Pennington where they remained for approx. 12 months. Norman eventually was employed by the Department of Works in Woomera and due to no family housing in Woomera, the family moved to 386 Anzac Road Port Pirie. Norman travelled from Woomera to visit the family every 2nd weekend until they eventually obtained housing in Woomera at 2 Goornan Street in 1964. Norman worked in many of the regions connected to the rocket range including Maralinga. Norman died of cancer 10Jan1980.
