I sailed in November on SS Australis from Sydney to Southampton in 1965. The ship,was still on its voyage to Sydney via Wellington so we called there before sailing on across the Indian Ocean to Southampton. It is so sad to read hat happened to her when I had such a lovely time on board for a month when I was only 22.
