This is my father, Arthur Christopher Mears, who sadly passed away in the 1980s. After arriving in Adelaide in 1962 we lived there for 5 years before moving to Canberra on the day they introduced decimal currency in Australia on 14 February 1966. My father worked for the Navy as a radar engineer and before that worked at the Orroral Valley space tracking station operated by NASA and the Australian government. Thank you so much for funding this passengers in history initiative.
