I am writing this for my mother Heather Rosemary Mears who travelled out to Australia with her husband Arthur Christopher Mears and three children - Katharine Anne Mears, Alison Jane Hilton Mears, and myself Annabel Lucy Beatrix Mears (now Ozimec). After arriving in Adelaide in 1962 we lived there for 5 years before moving to Canberra on the day they introduced decimal currency in Australia on 14 February 1966. My mother, Heather, is now 94 and still lives in Canberra. Sadly her husband Arthur died in the late 80s. Thank you so much for funding this passengers in history initiative.
