Mrs. G.M. FINNIMORE

Grace and Horace Finnimore migrated to Adelaide from India in 1962 with daughters Christine and Jean, two of their six children. The eldest son Julian was already living in England. Two of Grace and Horace’s other children, Corinne and Peter had migrated to Australia 6 months earlier to find jobs and a house for the family to rent. Eventually the family moved into a newly built Housing Trust home in Fulham Gardens. Their remaining child, Keith, a captain in the Indian merchant navy, emigrated a few years later. Grace died in 1974 and Horace in 1990. The eldest Julian emigrated from England in 2003. The entire family with children (Grace and Horace’s grandchildren) now live in Australia.
