J. Ruse

I am descended from James Ruse, First Fleet convict who received the first land grant in the colony. His son, James Ruse Jnr seems to have disappeared. He was born in 1793 and apprenticed to Kable and Underwood shipbuilders in 1801, so only about 8 years old. Other than that he was mentioned in a land sales document in 1815 so I ASSUME he was still alive then. As a long shot I wondered if the J. Ruse, master might have been him and that he left the colony and obtained some certification in the UK??? Any suggestions or clarification of this would be gratefully appreciated.
