In search of additional information and documentations for my ancestor Bhairo's birth . I have a copy of his emigration pass with the following information: Depot # 2925 for ship Allanshaw proceeding to British Guiana No. 280 British Guiana Emigration Agency , Calcutta, the 23/11/1886 Place: Allahabhad Date: 2/11/1886 Register no. 362 Name: Bhairo Farher's name: Boodhn Any further information that can assist in tracking my ancestors i will follow up on. I am the grandson of Badri Maharaj who travelled to Fiji on the Allanshaw as a girmitya in 1890. On the same ship was my maternal great grandmother. My grandfather, then an 8 yr old travelled with his 26 yr old mother and 6 mth old brother. I am trying to capture the 1890 journey of the Allanshaw from Calcutta to Fiji - the Captain, the officers etc. In 1885 Maharani was murdered/died on the Allanshaw on the way to British Guyana. This shipo had a reputation for sexploitation. I would value any information.
