Last square rigged vessel built in Tasmania. Henry Jones & Co.Ltd., reg. Hobart. 1920 Aug.21: Her last voyage sailed from Newcastle bound for Hobart with a cargo of coal, under captain LG Atwell and a crew of eleven. She was seen 3 days later by HMAS Melbourne in a full gale off Gabo, but was never seen again. The Melbourne and the destroyer Swordsman were sent to look for her and became the subject of perhaps the first aerial search. One of the searching aircraft also failed to return which caused an even more intense search, all to no avail.
