Carpentaria

My great-great grandmother Eugenie Eleonore Pelle sailed with her family on the Carpentaria from Liverpool and arrived in Melbourne August 1, 1854. I am trying to gain access to George Pollock Russell's diary of the voyage to learn what passengers experienced. Any advice on how to access the diary would be appreciated - I am in the United States.
