My Great Grandfather William Taylor came to Melbourne on the Culdee in 1840, leaving Greenock on 17th February at 12 noon. He arrived in Melbourne on the 7th August. I would love to have a copy of a painting of him that used to hang in the library at his home at Keilor. It was given to his descendant Robert Taylor a solicitor in Frankston, in the 1960's, and I would think his sons have the portrait now.
