Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Co., reg. Greenock. India & Far East service. 1915: Landed the 12th Australian Battalion at Anzac Cove, Gallipoli. Remained there as a hospital ship with her sister Dongola. She was the last ship to leave the beach area. 1916 Apr.5: Picked up the survivors of British India's Chantala and landed them at Malta. 1919: Returned to the Far East run & Australia. 1928: Sold & broken up in Japan.
