1872: Lengthened to 78.7 x 12.5 x 5.2. 1873: Government of South Australia. Worked on the construction of the Overland Telegraph at Roper River & later the Adelaide to Melbourne rail link. 1877 June 4: Stranded on the eastern bank of the Murray Mouth. Refloated on (Aug 15). Last owner: The Adelaide Steam Tug Co., reg. Port Adelaide as a hulk & water tender. 1913 Aug.: Register closed, 'unfit for further service' and abandoned in the North Arm.
