Hi there I was wondering if you had any information on who was captain of this ship around 1870. I was curious because I recently found out My 2nd great grandfather was captain of a ship called the FITZ JAMES but not sure if it's the same ship he was from port Glasgow in Scotland and was a master mariner.

The ship was declared unseaworthy in 1866, in Melbourne, Australia. It never sailed again, & it was broken up for firewood years later.
