This is the ship that my grandfather, Sven Eriksson, was captain of for several years. It belonged to the Mathias Erikson fleet of Aland islands, taking wheat from South Australia to England. My father was conceived on board and the captain's cabin is now preserved in the Mariehamn Maritime Museum.
