William Basham (Port Eliot Miller), reg. Port Adelaide. 1869 June: Murray & Caldwell. 1869 Sept.: Thomas Johnson. 1913 Aug.: R.W.Robertson. 1956 June: Register noted 'no trace of vessel or last owner'. SA Harbors Board Survey, 1944, reveals her remains are sunk in the Murray near the Pyap Pumping Station, about 60' from the bank. This vessel is supposed to be the first iron steamer built in South Australia, as distinct from those imported in sections from overseas.
