Somes & Co., reg. London. 1846 & 1847: Convict transport. 1857 Feb.25: Burnt of Tristan da Cunha. The captain went ashore to obtain water and returned to find the ship ablaze. Passengers and crew landed safely on the island and later reached Cape Town.
