Belfast. 1904 Feb.12: Maiden voyage, Tilbury - Bombay. 1904 Apr.: Placed on the Australian run. 1907: Chine - London route. 1914 Aug.: Converted to an armed merchant cruiser. 1914 Dec.: Along with HMS Bristol sank Admiral von Spee's supply ships Baden and Santa Isabel at the battle of the Falkland Islands. 1916: Purchased for 4 years by the Admiralty. 1921: Refitted for the Far East service. 1931 June: Sold to Japanese Shipbreakers.
