Adelaide Steamship Co., reg. Port Adelaide. Built for the Spencer Gulf trade. 1919 Sept.: Sold to Hong Kong and renamed. 1922: Newcastle & Hunter River SS Co.Ltd. For Sydney-Newcastle route and renamed. Spent three years of WWII as an interstate passenger ship between Sydney and north Queensland. 1942 Feb.14: In collision with SS Neo Hebridais off Norah Head, NSW, and beached. Subsequently dismantled where she lay.
