Way back in 1965 or so, my family owned a 72 ft demasted schooner down in Port Isabel Texas, we got it with the intention of making a commercial fishing boat out of it, I was told that it was a sister ship to one that was built long ago in Austrailia, she had beautiful wood work inside and I believe a six cyl diesel engine. She drew about 13 ft of water and had an estimated 98 bags of wet cement in the keel for ballast. She was HogBacked during a storm and shortly there after she had her mast removed. After sinking at the dock several times while in Brownsville, she was pumped out and sold as a floating bait camp along the Intercoastal canal, where she continued to break loose and was eventually used for target practice by the Coast guard since she was a hazard to navigation. Sad story but true, always wondered if the sister ship story was true, her name was also OSPREY. Thanks for listening fill in as many blanks as you can
