Greenock. 1895: Rammed by Hector while anchored at Shanghai. 1900 Oct: Toyo Kisen K.K., Japan, renamed. 1903: Stranded on Palauig Reef off the Philippines & seriously damaged. 1904: Taken over by the Japanese Government as a hospital ship.1904 Oct.: Stranded in Moji Harbour, but refloated with difficulty. 1904 Dec.: Collision with the transport, Manshu Maru at Muji, damaged, beached for repairs & returned to service. 1905: Toyo Kishen, UK. 1905 July 7: Wrecked on Manaita Rock at Ujina, Inland Sea, broke her back & broke up where she lay.
