Unregistered. 1862 Oct.15: Foundered in Gulf St.Vincent en route to Port Adelaide from Port Wakefield, where she had been lighting wool to the Scottish Chief. Capt.Wm.McKay & crewman Peter Johson were drowned and their bodies recovered in the wreck 7 miles off Port Gawler. Passengers, John Pickering, Angus Cameron & Henry Nell were lost. The vessel was towed to Port Adelaide for repairs, by Capt.Luxon in the steamer Sturt.
