Reputedly fastest of the Down Easters. 1887: Sold to work on the Pacific Coast of the US. Simpson Bros., reg. San Francisco. 1899: Converted to a coal hulk in Newcastle, NSW. 1906 July 19: Caught fire at Birkenhead. Towed to the North Arm & became the first vessel abandoned there.
