I think that my family and I had lunch on board this vessel on 25th April 1955, when she was berthed in Melbourne. My father writes in his diary that we inspected the radar, echo sounding device and gyro compass. He "interviewed" the Captain, Capt Javadecker, the preceding day and noted that the Capt wanted to start a sea scout troop in Calcutta. Can you confirm that this vessel was in Melbourne under this Captain please
