Demise

Built as the Port River Ferry, for the Port Adelaide Corporation, but laid up as too expensive. 1916 Aug.10: Enter service, but only as a standby vessel. 1920 May 15: Exploded & sank on the bank. Subesquently sold to E.Schiphorst & renamed. 1925 June 29: Sank at her moorings at Musgrave Wharf, Hawkers Creek. 1928: Abandoned & broken up at the North Arm.
