I was born in north fremantle 1957 ..I came home to a Victorian house built 1897 called birkdale ..researching the house history found the house was built by George cable knight ..and Dora Jane pace...Dora paces grandfather was cspt Walter pace who was capt in the east India co prior to 1830...Stephen George Henry married a pace daughter and these two people were squatters on Portland area and are the first people to settle in Victoria ...the Henry's family vessel is the thisle built india
