Adelaide Steamship Co., reg. Port Adelaide. Chartered to Union SS Co. of NZ for their trans-Pacific run. 1914 Nov.17: Requisitioned by the New Zealand Government. 1918: Requisitioned by the British Government. 1919: Sold and renamed. 1929 Dec.19: Sunk in New York harbour after collision with SS Algonquin. The wreck was later blown up to clear the channel.
