This ship, chartered by the Emigration Commissioners for the conveyance of emigrants to this colony, left Plymouth on the 2nd August, and arrived here after a passage of 118 days.... Capt.J.W.Hurst formerly commanded the well-known ship Samuel Boddington. The number of passengers embarked was 300, and the total number arrived, 299. Eight births and nine deaths having occurred on the passage. Register 29/11/1856
