Journey Notes
With 296 Souls; Government Assisted Migrants. The Coldstream, from London via Plymouth, left on March 3, with stormy north-east winds, which continued for some time. She crossed the Line on the 30th, but from that period till passing the meridian of the Cape very light airs and calms superseded the trades; from thence to the Australian land, however, a fine run was made. The only very severe gale experienced was on May 27; but beyond the loss of bulwark planking there was no casualty for entry in the log. Register 6/6/1865
