Journey Notes
The Caucasian, from London arrived as elsewhere reported, after a very tedious voyage, having little else than headwinds to contend with the whole time. Her log reports much heavy weather. When off the Bay of Biscay she lost a portion of her Bulwarks, and also in the longitude of the Cape of Good Hope. July 7, when in lat.6°55'N., Long 24°27'W., signalled the Amicitia, from Sunderland, bound to Rangoon. The steam-tug will bring the Caucasian up the creek this morning.
