La Belle Alliance left London on 28th February, and Plymouth on the 8th March. She had proceeded nearly as far as Madeira, when she was overtaken by a heavy gale, which carried away her main top mast and compelled her to put back to Plymouth, from which port she finally sailed on the 4th April. She brings 291 emigrants. This vessel has made a remarkably quick passage, having been only 88 days from port to port. Register 3/7/1847. Departing Port Adelaide (16 Aug) for Singapore, in ballast.
